Meet the UNIQUE RVHauler named ‘CHECKERS’. He is a 2012 Volvo model 630 with the workstation configuration and fridge! Wow, this is the first one I’ve seen outfitted like this! This low roof – super-short RVHauler was customized by our customers. The bed is steel, and the clients built this with professional help in their home location. This was not built by ourselves at RVHaulers, but we can see it was done well. The owners have purchased a new (to them) 2020 Volvo, and they want us to help them find a new owner for ‘CHECKERS’. (Yes we are also customizing their 2020 – so watch for the YouTube Updates on that new build). In the meantime, we have CHECKERS ready for a new home. He has been to the dealership and shop, and has been fully inspected and made ready for a new home.
Engine – D16 550 HP Ecotorque engine! Miles – 885,000. 13,200 lb front axle! Two 125 gallon fuel tanks. ishift 12 speed autoshift transmission.
For the last while he was their trusted RVHauler taking them travelling all over US and Canada. The tires are less than a year old. Super-modern stereo. Direclink brake controller. Travel Saver Hitch capable of up to a 5000 lb pin weight, and a 32,000 lb trailer. Non smoking interior.
You have OPTIONS for setting up the bed configuration. There is presently a large drom box bolted to the frame. If you remove the drom box, you have the ability to load a toy length-wise that is less than 104″. If you leave the drom in place, you have 64″ of deck space while still connecting your 5th wheel RV. Checkers measures 27′ 10 inches from the front bumper to the pin location of the hitch. Overall, Checkers measures 29′ 6″ from bumper to bumper.
If you want to load something from the side (like a golf cart or a smart car), you have 87.5 inches of available deck space. More than enough for a Smartie!
OPTION – you can leave the sleeper fairing in place, and Checkers measures 12′ 10″ tall. If you choose to take off the sleeper fairing, he will measure 10′ 4″ tall!
